Ask for a clause in the contract under the room block to state:
The hotel guarantees that no other group will receive a room rate less than that negotiated group room rate for my meeting.
Also state that if anyone books a room for your meeting on the internet at a reduced room rate, the room nights will be credited to your account so that you don’t incur any attrition.
