We’d like to turn the spotlight on Greg Nawrocki with the perfectly located Newport Harbor Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island.

When a Boston area customer was looking for a resort within driving distance of the city to host their offsite management retreat we presented the Newport Harbor Hotel as an option.  What sold the client on this city resort is the location as it sits right on the harbor where their guests could partake in a team building experience with America’s Cup Charters.  The yachts dock just outside the back door of the hotel on the marina that provided the guests with a perfect opportunity to develop teamwork, communication and leadership on the 12 meter yachts for their team building activity.  It was a once in a lifetime experience that offered them with a meeting experience in a setting they’ll never forget.

All of this was organized by Greg Nawrocki, sales manager, at the Newport Harbor Hotel in conjunction with the event planner at America’s Cup Charters.  Greg made the entire planning process seamless and went out of his way to provide our client with the tools she needed to put together a superb meeting.

On a daily basis, we talk with hotel sales managers globally when searching for hotels or helping our clients’ plan their offsite meetings, and it’s refreshing to find someone who goes way beyond the call of duty to take excellent care of us leading up to the meeting dates.  Greg was incredibly quick to respond to the multitude of requests we made of him, including a postponement of signed contract dates that ultimately lead to a rebooking of this meeting.  When a sales manager is passionate about his or her property it shows and Greg is one of those hotel sales managers who takes pride in his resort and knows what it takes to make the customer happy; quick response time, pleasant demeanor, and our mutual goal of ensuring the customers ultimate satisfaction from planning through group arrival and guests’ departure.
